Im @ Brownmackie College now

I have started this new school, and it have been cool so far. I have passed all of my classes with a B!!!. Im going for Criminal Justice, and I scared. Im not sure of this program, because I think it is a lot of work, and it can be too much work @ times.

A day @ the mall

It was a Saturday and me and my cousin decided to go to the mall. I was happy to go because I had just got paid and I couldnt wait to spend my money on something nice. I found two nice outfits that look really good on me. I wanted to make sure i stuck with bright colors because I have a habbit of wareing black, white and gray thats boring for the summer. So I was able to find some pretty bluse greens and pick colors in the clothes that I choose. After we was done we had a bite to eat and then home.

A good Day!!

I had a nice time with my cousin Maria and her daughter this weekend. The carnival was out in Bellville this week and we decided to take the kids. We let them get on all the rides that they could and it was so funny because as they were on the rides they was making such crazy faces lol. I had a blast just watching them have a good time. We ate funnel cake and ice cupe and the funnel cake was the best. After we were done eating it was time to go home because it was starting to rain. I was not about to get my hair wet so I was sooo!! ready to leave but other then the rain I had a good time and it was nice to spend time with them.

This school year

This year have been really hard because I had work, school and a two year old child that I have to focus on. I thought that I was going to be able to handdle it because I was so tired of not having nothing to do last summer. I felt that is was a good ideal to give my self a full time schedule. But boy was I wrong I found my myself struggling everyday to get up out of bed everyday having to get me and my son ready. It have been hard but Im trying to get by. I cant wait into school end its really hard work.

A day out with the girls!

So the summer is near and Im getting really excited because me and my friends are planning to do so much. We are all getting our tickets this friday for Summer Jam and I cant wait. that mean that we all have to go shopping and find something real cute to wear. We also plan to rent out our family resort and have a good time swimming, camping and fishing. Its nice to be able to share speacial moments with friends.

Mothers day!!

Mothers day was really nice I was happy to share a day with my mother and grandmother. We had a BBQ that my grandad gave and we really enjoyed it. This is my 2nd year being able to share mothers day with them. I am pleased to say that Im a mother and I enjoy spending time with my mother son on such a wonderful day. There are so many people who are not able to see their mothers so Im happy to be here with my son. We ate shared gifts and shared momories of each other childhood. This was a good day and I hope for many more like them.

My son birthday party

May 1st was my sons b-day he turned 2 yaers old. I came really fast I was very happy to see my son turning 2 because it gave me another chance to show him how much I love hime. So I told family and friends to come by my house after work because i was giving him a BBQ. Lots of family and close friends came to help him celabrate this speacial day. He was scared at first but he came around when all the other kids starting palying. It made me feel good to see him having such a good time. We ate food cake and ice cream and then we shared gifts. After it was over I looked him in the eye with joy. I was very happy to share this day with him and wished for many more like them.

Just hangging on

This year is really becoming a bit much trying to balance school, work, child and homelife is making me very tired. I never have a day off and theres always something I have to do. I asked myself when will my brake come. How about never unless I take one my self. Me and my mom was at my house talking about how I have been very stressed about school and work. she told me not to worrie and do what I feel best to help my situation. I then told my mom I dont want no one to judge me for what decision I make. People might think they have all the right solutions for others but thats not ture in all cases. Its time out and do whats best for me.

My Top 5 Favorite Things

My number one thing I love to do is Spending time with my hansom son. The second thing is Art because it is a strees reliever when im upset or people who I love the most are really borthering me. I really make me feel good when my art work turn out good. The Third is shopping because its the only time I get to have fun with my friends and be with out my child for a while. Food would have to be my fourth thing I enjoy doing. I like trying new things and I also cant get enoff soul food. The last thing I love to do is doing hair because its nice to know how to do something extra on the side it bring in good money and fast when your in a time of need.

Disney On Ice

Sunday me and some friends took our kids to see Disney on Ice. We took the Train their and it was my sons first time riding the train and he was very excited when we got on. When we got their we bought our tickets and took our seats it was very nice to see them doing soo many tricks. My son was even trying to get down there with them. I think the best part for him was seeing the bubbles fall from the sealing. He stood up and tryed to catch them It was fuuny watching them enjoy disney. It turned out to be a good time but my son wasnt able to finish watching the show because he feel asleep. When it was over we took pictures and went home.

Spring Brake

 This spring brake was cool!! I spent the week catching ip on some sleep that Ive been missing, and some things that I wanted to get done around the house. I was able to finish up some decorating and start some new projects around the house. I was able to go shopping a thing that I love to do on my spare time. I found some nice thing @ the West County Mall. After the mall me and my boy friend went to the Elephant restaurant to dine in. I was really nice we were abe to try some new foods that turned out to be good. It was also nice to get my hair done but it took hours I was very tired when they were done. So I really cant wait into the summer get her I can use many more day like this past week.

Relaxtion for me

 Everyday is a busy day for me because I attend school everyday and I work every weekend. I never have a day off. So the only time I have is when I get off work and me and my friend go shopping and pampering our selves. We went to get a bite to eat and then off to the mall. I was only able to go to about two stores because the mall close @ 6:00 on Sundays but it was cool we still got what we where looking for. Then we got our nails done this felt nice!!

 I really enjoy these days because we always get paid @the same time and with the week I have I can always use some me time. Relaxing @ home when theres no1 there is lovely. I can take a long hot bath and theres no1 to interrupt me like my son. He always comes and knock on the door wanting to take a bath two. He dont understand that just because mommy taking a bath its not his turn. He's cute but it can become a problem when you can't never have that personal time to yourself. Well this weekend worked out for me because I didnt even have to worrie about him for an extra day or the boyfriend. I love my peace time and I know some can really relate to this. These are the day you look foward to and appreciate the most.

Its time to decorate

When I moved into my new appartment I was excited. I had already had most of what I need for as furniture. So when I moved I thought that I would just add on to what I already have. Well when it was time to put all my furniture in the new place everything made inside except my coach. This made very upset because I had just got the coach not to long ago. Me and my uncle spent two hours trying to move this coach inside of my place. You wouldnt understand how many things we done to get it to work. We tryed taking the door off the hinges, removing the rails to the steps and removing the pillows off the coach. I was about to cry!! we have done all that we could to it to work but we failed.

   Now its time for me to cheer up Im redecorating my livingroom in my favorite colors. Red, black,brown,and cream. The coach is a red sectional with red, black, brown, and cream in it and also the rug. Im going to find some nice curtains that will mach well with everything. A nice table and some drawings that I ahve been wanting to display for a long time. I really cant wait to begain and even more excited with how its going to turn out!!!!!

The custody battle between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry

I was reading Time Weekly and Halle was having a hard time trusting Gabriel with their taking care of their daugther. She felt that he was incompitent of caring for thier baby girl. While reading this I was able to relate with how Halle was feeling. This is her first bioligical child and she feels nervous abou letting her child go with the father. We as wemon know how men are with children they dont understand how to do certain thing  mother know how to do such as puting on the clothes, feeding them, and knowing when their sick let alone the changing of the dipers.Still in all his was awarded joint custdy of their daughter. I feel that Gabriel a good dad and seems to enjoy to be with his little girl just as much as Halle. Its nice to see a father period taking inrest in thier children. Halle can always take the time and give hime tips on how to take care of her thats what a mother is there for.So just relax Halle and give Gabriel a chance to raise your beautiful little girl.

Jake Gyllenhoal and Taylor Swift Brake up

This past week I was reading my US Weekly that I get in the mail. When I came across an article about Jake and Taylor Swift brake up. The first thing that came to my mind was. O here we go again another famous brake up. What makes this one so special? Well the artical stated that Jake had broken up with Taylor and she was very heart broken about it. I felt that this was sad for her but then I kept on reading. They had only been Daiting for 2 months. How could you be heart broken? If you haven't be together for that long. I know that every1 is different but come on you cant fall in love with someone that quick. They said that she needed all the support of her closest friends and family to feel better about the brake up. He was very happy about the bake up and was moving right along with his life. I think he made a great choice on braking up with her just think if she falling in love this quick then who knows what eles she might have had up her sleeve.

Where I come from

My name is Whitney Evans and I come from Tamara Mckinney and my step father Marlo Mickinney. My grandparents are Joyce Odom and Odell Odom. These people are the folks who raised me. I was born in Ceterville Ill, East St.Louis. I also so have two bothers after me and although we are close in age we have nothing in common. We are a very traditional family that love to get together during holidays. I love the food that my parents and grandparents make during the holidays. They make dressing, collard greens, turkey,chicken,cookies, cakes and more. I always would have an eating contest with my father because we love to eat the most out of the family.Of course he would win but it never stoped me from trying to eat all that I can.
   In my family I can truly say that we stick togther when times get hard. Even though we have our normal family problems we still manage to come togther during speacial times as well. When I was a child me and my father would always get up early in the morning to go fishing. I would make sure that we had lots of worms. I would find them in the dirt the day before. This is a tradition that will go on to my son. My dad cant wait for my son to get older so he can take him on nice fishing trips we once shared, but Im not sure if my son would pick the worms form the dirt like I did. Now that I have my own family I hope that tradition will live on.

An outing with my friend

Last weekend was really nice me and my good friend Dominiquie went to the mall. Uselly Iwould drive but this time we both decided to take the Metro link train. At first I thought man its cold out there and do I really feel like standing outside waiting on a train. Well then I thought about how much money I would be saving on gas and I sad to my self a lil cold wont heart no one. So when we got there we went into every store we could see shopping away into we build up an appetite. We then went to the food court and the first thing that I saw was sushi. Thats one of my favorite foods to eat so it was a must for me to have some, but because that didn't fill me up I also got some philly cheese steak on top of that. Yes i know the two dont match but what the hell I was very hungry and I eat what I could. After we were done we went back to our shopping and didnt leave into the mall close.When we made it back to the car I realized that I really did some shopping and was able to spend more money on shopping because I didnt have to put gas into the car.

How I feel about SWIC

Im attending swic this semester. My goal is to recieve my associates degree and move on to a university. Its my second week into school and I noticed a few things that I dont like when im walking in the halls. People standing around acting like their still in high school. Now dont get me wrong I socialize as well but only to the people I know and mostly during my brake. I really get upset when im walking down the hall trying to get to my class and all I here is rude comments. I cant understand people sometimes. Where all adults and even though some are just getting out of high school. O by the way congradeulations!! but is time to grow up. Try to present your self like your gowing some where in life and peolple will respect you more.
